With skyline views from the 1960's Kips Bay apartment complex, originally designed by I.M. Pei, this pied-a-terre was created for a bachelor who sought a sanctuary of tranquility in the city. Carefully selected furnishings, fabrics and custom millwork utilize a minimalist palette and contrast serenely with the vibrancy of the city beyond the enormous windows. Wood surfaces, resins and glass tile walls glow from within, transforming the mood of the spaces as light conditions change with the passage of day.
