In this 8 room prewar penthouse, a skylight was installed to introduce light into a long gallery. Terminating at a library created out of a butler' pantry and maid's room, the gallery is framed with custom cherry millwork and links the living room, dining room and library. Glazed walls and a neutral palette highlight the art collection while enhancing the connection between the surrounding terrace and the interior spaces.
